What Quality Means to Us

alt text

We don’t just talk quality, we live it; Quality is at the heart of everything we do. Our commitment to quality is something we take seriously during each part of the farming and manufacturing process. We apply this mindset to every aspect of our operation.

Why Quality CBD Is Important

The CBD industry changes daily, and the amount of new CBD products entering the market is staggering. From capsules and oil to hemp flowers, salves, and topicals, there are more CBD product choices than ever before. Those products, however, aren’t all created equal. The quality of how a CBD product is made should be a key consideration as you shop. Some CBD oil products may be untested. Some CBD products may even be harmful to consume as a result of the presence of residual solvents, heavy metals, and other toxic compounds.

The quality of Sunsoil CBD is demonstrated in four key parts of our process:

  • USDA Certified Organic Farm
  • Whole-Plant Infusion
  • Premium Ingredients
  • Robust Third-Party Testing

USDA-Certified Organic Farm

The quality of Sunsoil CBD products is a direct result of the environment from which they are cultivated and processed. Since 2018, our hemp has been USDA certified organic. This means that the hemp currently used to produce our CBD oil was grown the right way, with a commitment to the health of the land and the health of people everywhere. Farming organically and processing our hemp naturally (without the use of harmful solvents) is a clear choice for us, and our simple methods allow us to create a high-quality CBD product while keeping costs down in the process.

What does organic mean on our farm? It's simple:

  • No pesticides or herbicides
  • No GMOs
  • Soil-building through crop rotation
  • Traceability from seed to shelf
  • Soil nutrients derived from organic inputs

Whole-Plant Infusion

Infusion is what truly separates Sunsoil CBD from other products on the market.
Other companies use CO2 or ethanol to extract cannabinoids from hemp.
At Sunsoil, we infuse hemp directly into organic coconut oil. (Think of it like a large French press, but for hemp.) We simply heat it and press it to create a minimally processed, infused CBD oil. We call this process "whole-plant infusion" because it better preserves the natural range of compounds found in hemp.

Premium Ingredients

We use organic MCT and organic coconut oil in all of our blends. We only use essential oils and natural flavors to sweeten our products.

Robust Third-Party Lab Testing

Transparency is core to who we are as a company. Ensuring all of our batches are lab tested by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) compliant, third-party laboratories not only verifies the quality of our product but allows us to establish trust with our consumers that the CBD they purchase from us is precisely what we say it is. We work with three separate ISO-certified labs to verify quality, testing not only for potency but also for the presence of heavy metals, microbes, pesticides and many other compounds which have no place in our CBD oil.

Want to view our lab results? They are always available for customers to view on our website. We believe you deserve to know what you’re consuming, which is why we've gone to great lengths to ensure there are no surprises or unanswerable questions about what's in our products
